I've worked in the outdoor recreation industry for about 8 years, as an outdoor education instructor, a bushwalking guide and corporate training facilitator. I have a great passion for environmental education and focus my work in this area, using tourism and outdoor education to promote our connection to the natural world.

8 years.

Favourite part of the world:

Well Tasmania has many amazing and beautiful places and it's hard to choose between them, but I can't go past Kanangra Walls in the Blue Mountains NSW as my most favourite place. It's my home country which I have a strong connection to.

Favourite food:

I Love Food! My favourite food is often what ever I happen to be eating at any given time. I especially like a good curry, halva, and fresh fruit and vege juices.

Best habit:

Eating.

Worst habit:

Eating too much.

Best part of my day:

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Worst part of my day:

The time of day when I am forced to fill out questionnaires about myself.

Preferred season:

Depends on where I am. In the Blue Mountains it was the beginning of winter when the valleys are full of mist. In Tasmania it's the beginning of spring when it's getting warmer and everything is waking up.

Favourite way to unwind:

Walking.

If you could be a Crayon, what colour would you be?

Any colour as long as it makes a really good picture of a monster on my bedroom wall.

Favourite Hobart restaurant:

Sirens is groovy, and I also like the New Sydney Hotel for a simple pub meal and some dirty blues music in the background.

Favourite music, artist or song:

With Music I'm an eclectic monkey. At the moment I'm listening to Tom Waits, but I really like anything as long as I reckon it's good. I'm a big fan of Primus and Les Claypool's stuff. I love funk, heavy metal, Theolonius Monk, Rockabilly, Taj Mahall, Tool, Toots and the Maytals, Dub and reggae, Tori Amos, Tribe Called Quest, Trinity Roots, Tex Perkins, The Tea Party and many other musicians starting with T.

My favourite song is Rainbow Connection by Kermit T. Frog.

What do you love most about Team Discovery?

The best bit is filling out questionnaires for the web site.

But I also love working in an environment of continual fun and creativity with a great bunch of inspiring people. Working with teams of people with the intention to help them achieve the best out of them selves as a team continually puts a smile on my face. I love playing games with grown ups.
